Health monitoring devices (vital signs) interconnected by a body area network to aggregate their information, empowered by the interconnection of different communication technologies.
This testbed can be used as a prototype development for deploying monitoring solutions (ex. in-house monitoring, health facility health kiosk, mobile sensing using smartphones). These can be seen as a health kiosk (somewhere you go to have your "health" checked), a smart home continuous monitoring system, a first trial for mobile systems (such as SenseMyCity, where the sensing devices will need to be mobile so to be taken).
The data collection can be expanded with other appropriate data collections such as questionnaires, voice samples, among others.
